Composer Raymond Warren
Title Four and Twenty Blackbirds
Year 1997
Instrumentation Voice+accomp
Mins 9-10
Other information The nursery rhymes are arranged for voice and piano right hand only, so that they can be played and sung while holding a young child. If preferred the child can be held in the right arm and the accompaniments played with the left hand, perhaps an octave lower. Pease feel free to adapt them as you wish: I just want them to be useful. Most of them can be repeated and in paticular nos. 2, 3, 6, 7, 18, 21, and 22 can be repeated an octave higher.
